Libya issues 52 licence decisions for foreign companies operating in the country
Libya's Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity, Souhil Boushiha, has issued decisions covering 52 foreign companies operating branches or representative offices in Libya, regulating the opening, renewal and extension of their licences.
The decisions span the oil and gas, construction and engineering, infrastructure, transport and aviation, technology, water treatment and consulting sectors, in a move the ministry said is aimed at regulating foreign company activity, supporting investment, and strengthening the transfer of expertise, technology and economic partnerships.
